Launch of campaign ‘Choose a different climate. Vote for justice.’

Today, a coalition of more than 50 civil society organizations – including Wemos – is launching the election campaign ‘Choose a different climate. Vote for justice.’ In a manifesto published today, the coalition calls on all Dutch voters to make their voices heard in the run-up to the elections. The core of the manifesto is that our new political leaders must take humanity and justice as a starting point when they make choices that impact people in and outside the Netherlands.

Draft pandemic agreement possible stepping stone

After more than three years, the WHO Member States concluded negotiations on a draft pandemic agreement. The proposal aims to strengthen global collaboration on prevention, preparedness and response to future pandemic threats. We are cautiously optimistic about the provisions in the draft agreement. They can provide a stepping stone to firmer, fully effective action. Read more
