The new 2026-2030 GFF strategy: wins and missed opportunities

The Global Financing Facility (GFF) launched its new 2026-2030 strategy ‘Transform 2030: Transforming Health Systems, Saving Lives‘ during the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) High-Level Forum on December 6th in Tokyo. We notice that the GFF did take into account some of the points we raised during the process, but that some of the more structural asks are still only partially reflected. Read more

Open letter calling for pharmaceutical transparency

On October 28th, we handed over an open letter to the Dutch Ministry of Health calling for increased transparency in the pharmaceutical sector. The letter was signed by numerous experts and organizations, including the Dutch Patient Federation and Doctors Without Borders Netherlands. Read more

Election candidates layout vision for future of Dutch leadership in human rights and global health

How can the Netherlands maintain and strengthen its role in human rights and global health? This was the focus of a pre-election event in The Hague, organized by the Dutch Global Health Alliance (DGHA) and the SRHR Platform. Candidate Members of Parliament (MPs) from seven political parties discussed their vision and commitment to advancing (sexual) health and rights in the Netherlands and worldwide. Read more
