73rd WHO Regional Committee for Europe: statement on health and care workforce

Wemos and other non-State actors in official relations with the WHO urge WHO EURO member states to cease the international competition for health workers, and to work together to improve working conditions for health workers, so they can deliver the best possible health care for all European citizens. Behind-the-scenes with Wemos at the UN high-level meetings on health

She read out a joint statement by Wemos and our partner Akina Mama wa Afrika, during the meeting on universal health coverage (UHC), calling on member states to reform the international financial architecture to address unsustainable debts and illicit financial flows.
