Aliénor Devalière
Global health advocate
“Over the past ten years, I’ve enjoyed being part of the access to medicines community, leading advocacy strategies and finding ways to put access and affordability at the heart of every policy. I’ve also managed to find a great work-life balance at Wemos and I’m grateful for that!”
As global health advocate at Wemos, Aliénor is part of the organization’s access to medicines team, supporting our advocacy work in this thematic area. She does this by leading advocacy strategies, performing joint campaigns, and drafting research and analysis papers.
Aliénor is a public health consultant working in the field of public health and access to medicines for the past ten years. After working as a European public affairs consultant in Brussels, she joined the independent non-profit organization, Health Action International, in 2014. She then joined Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Access Campaign as the EU Policy and Advocacy Officer in Brussels, working closely in collaboration with civil society, policy-makers and EU institutions. She then established herself as a consultant, supporting MSF Access strategy and advocacy, joining WHO NCD department on access to medicines and good governance and writing a policy brief on AMR and Pandemic Instrument.
