Cristina Kfuri
Communication advisor
“Strengthening human rights implies creating a more accessible, comprehensible, and interesting form of communication. Human rights knowledge must transcend the academic-legal barrier in order to reach all segments of society, from policymakers to the most vulnerable communities. As a universal right, the right to health must be accessible to all. Communicating Wemos’ excellent advocacy work is therefore a valuable opportunity to unite, challenge, and inspire the various stakeholders involved in promoting the right to health.”
Cristina works as a communication advisor, supporting Wemos with communication campaigns and social media.
Previously, she gained experience developing cross-channels strategic communication plans with an emphasis on social media. She worked as a content curator, copywriter, scriptwriter, and graphic designer for private companies and non-governmental organisations. For two years, she had the opportunity to live in different countries, enhancing her intercultural communication skills.
Before transitioning to communications, Cristina worked as a litigation lawyer in Brazil. She has a bachelor’s in Law, followed by a post-graduation in Business-Focused Management and a master’s in International and EU Law, with specialisation in human rights and migration. She has improved her skills with courses on marketing and content creation.
