I am intrigued by Wemos’ advocacy activities in holding high-income countries and global (health) institutions accountable for reducing global health inequities. I joined Wemos viewing an opportunity to contribute to systemic changes in the global health architecture.”
Suresh is junior Programme Officer at Wemos. He supports the coordination and management of activities and processes of the Make Way programme, as a part of the Programme Coordination Unit of Make Way.
He has been working in the public health sector since 2012. He coordinated and managed programmes on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and health systems strengthening at several civil society organisations in Nepal. He is also experienced in the capacity building of non-governmental organisations at sub-national level on SRHR lobby and advocacy.
Suresh has a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a master’s degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. He also has a master’s in International Health (with cum laude) from KIT Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam.
