Wemos has joined the EU4Health Civil Society Alliance. In this network, 28 European civil society organisations join forces to achieve a Europe in which every citizen can attain the highest possible level of health and has access to affordable and good care.
The EU4Health Civil Society Alliance follows the developments of European Union (EU) policies and makes its voice heard when the EU makes choices that negatively impact public health or that do not contribute to reducing health inequalities among EU citizens. The Alliance is also committed to a balanced representation of civil society organisations in the development and implementation of European health policy.
Wemos has joined the Alliance to stay well-informed about developments in the EU and to take a solid stand with the other members against developments that hinder better access to health care for all. Especially now is the time to ensure that the recovery policy after the Covid-19 crisis focuses on sustainable strengthening of health systems that meet the needs of all citizens, including the most vulnerable. Together we can achieve more than alone.
